Section 12 of the Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004 requires community and town councils in Wales to make up their accounts each year to 31 March and to have those accounts audited by the Auditor General for Wales. Regulation 14 of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 states that smaller local govenment bodies, which includes RCC must prepare their accounts in accordance with proper practice.

Regulation 15(5) of the of the Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014 (as amended) requires that by 30 September REYNOLDSTON COMMUNITY COUNCIL publish its accounting statements for the year ended 31 March together with any certificate, opinion or report issued, given or made by the Auditor General.
These accounts have been published before the conclusion of the audit.
